I’m not the type to let something from the past stop me from being happy. To tell you the truth, I don’t like being sad. I don’t like telling people “I’m not okay”. You could say I move on too easily, but the thing is… I want to be happy. I want to wake up everyday and smile that genuine smile. I don’t want to think about what used to be, because it’s not worth it. It’s not worth wasting my time on something that had no intention of lasting. Sure, a lot of bullshit got to me. But who said I had to let that bring me down? Who said I should let that stop me from experiencing everything? I know I’m going to meet people that will eventually leave. I know It’s going to be hard. I know I’m going to get hurt. But that’s the thing with life. You learn from your mistakes. And the things that hurt you will eventually make you stronger in the end.
